Thanks To Your Support, We're Able To Serve Our Community and Work To Help Acadiana Widows
At Jim Olivier we do not just work to provide the best home improvement and product services in Acadiana. We also work to strengthen our local community -- including schools, locally owned businesses, charities, and also to do what we can to help those in our community that need special help.
As part of the Olivier family mission, we want to help care for the widows and orphans in our community. Many in our community work with us to follow the admonition found in James 1:27:
“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this,To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
Since my husband, Jim Olivier, passed away I have grown to appreciate the difficulties faced when a loved one passes away. This is one way I can give back and sow "good" into our community, and help to care for those in need. In speaking for all of us here in the Olivier family and the Jim Olivier team, thank you for all your support!
The Home of The Widow's Window Makeover Winner, Cathy Trahan Before The Makeover

We received many letters from Acadiana area widows, family, and friends. After much thought and prayer we selected Cathy Trahan as the recipient of the Widow's Makeover. Her home was in disrepair. The windows and siding were in bad condition, and Cathy was in great need of a helping hand.
We thank all of you who have supported Jim Olivier's Home Improvement over the years for helping us make this program possible.

Cathy wrote,
"I would like to thank you for the best gift anyone could have given me -- a new house, 'cause that's how it feels to me!"

Green Siding Accented By New White Windows Make The Home Energy Efficient -- And It Looks Like New!

Cathy chose a gorgeous green for her new siding. The appearance of the home from the road is a major improvement. It is a place where Cathy can stay cool in the summer, and warm in the winter.
The Home Is Barely Recognizable From the Street -- "My House That Was A Mess On The Outside Now Looks Brand New," Cathy Said.

"God works in mysterious ways to help people through others and I thank him for that, and having very good friends in my life. With all my heart, thanks everyone."
